James Cameron: Avatar – The Trailer Was Epic
The teaser trailer is one of many films to be seen this year and next year.
James Cameron: Avatar: The Trailer Was Epic:
The Xbox 360 whirled into life—after many attempts to try and get it going beyond the “Pac-Man Grim Reaper” but one that had finally been skipped around (again) I flipped onto the Marketplace page to see if new demos were up for grabs. I didn’t find a single demo worth a dime but I did find something better and much more epic then any game could offer me for the next few months—the teaser trailer for James Cameron: Avatar court my eye first just because it was there and because I really enjoy the idea of such an epic film which the totally the teaser trailer reinforced without a moment’s notice *drool*.
Let me tell you one thing about the trailer before anything else becomes important enough to mention “It look downright epically kickass awesome in High-Definition that gouging your own eyes out will not hinder it”. The only reason I can talk about the High-Definition part is thanks to the whole me owning one Widescreen HD TV—those two combined made the viewing pleasure of a whole two minutes and ten seconds of CGI glory better than anything I can imagine. The term “High-Definition” isn’t just some words strung along to add gravity to the release or press-kit or whatever it is—this is the real truly epic High-Definition deal because when someone exclaims “That’s awesome CGI” you know the films got it—but when someone asks “Is that real?” the realm of CGI has just taken a truly healthy step forwards into something new and wonderful. Someone actually did ask “Is that real?” so it’s clear this film will be something to test our perception of reality and bring us into the terrifying thought of “Could that CGI bullet actually kill me?” but that’s just silly.
The trailer is epic and keeps itself under restraint to keep an air of mystery towards the film’s plot itself—just little fragmented clips that draws you in till you’re ready for another trailer or even better, the film itself. You know how most trailers make it possible to decipher the plot of the film by just being logical about how it was presented…..well this film has a trailer where the substance is shown but the plot is left up in the air.
Oh what little wonders will you give me on a cold and stormy December evening? One little wonder came in the form of the aliens throwing me back into the whole “they look real *glazed eyes*” from how a female one reminded me of a Catgirl (the ears, face and tail might be the reason for that) which only makes the film even better and how it brought me close to exclaiming “Female CGI alien looks awesome *Glazed eyes*” along with everything already in the realm of awesomeness.
But with awesomeness that is enough to crush me if given physical form, a little issue has come up with comments popping up on YouTube where the film has its own account. People have been comparing the film’s CGI to the likes of Halo 3 or Killzone 2 graphics….WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY SAYING? This teaser trailer has to be seen in actual High-Definition quality to actually exclaim anything mentioned above or something completely different. So when you pop onto the link below make sure to click the “HD” logo at the bottom right corner of the video display. If you don’t you shall not experience epic joy to see something beyond words (figure of speech remember).

Thought of the Day: August 21st:
A Guardian film critic came across as a total prick with his review of Inglorious Bastard that he gave one star. Just reading it is enough to know he’s a bastard himself.
Here’s the link for an annoying prick review:
