Director James Cameron is resolved set off to the deepest point of the ocean to shoot picture material for its continuation on Avatar. Engineers work at present for a special vessel with which the floor of 11 km deep Marianentrog can be reached. The small, two person submarine are among other things equipped with a special heating system and a number of 3D camera. Cameron hopes to be able to go down at the end of this year to the mysterious ocean floor finished. The Marianentrog are approximately 2500 km long and lie in the west of the Pacific. If the Cameron succeeds, then he is only reach the second which has been this deep in the ocean. In 1960, a scientist and a marine succeeded after a descent of no less than 5 hours.
