Inception was one of the most popular movies last year, after many positive reviews and recommendations I decided to see it for myself, many people also told me that this movie was very confusing and a big thinking movie. Since I really enjoy movies that I have to think in, I decided to go see this one.
As the first scene started I was simply very lost and confused, not that it was my fault that I did not understand, but because the movie put you in such situation that nothing was explained yet and we eventually learned that it was a dream, after many strange things happening of course. As the movie progressed more and more was explained, but the movie kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. There was just so many fresh presentations each scene that I really wanted to keep up to understand it all. The movie changed scenarios and all, and eventually ended up in a dream within a dream within a dream…yeah, go figure.
So each dream affected it’s previous ‘reality’, this was displayed in gravity. Time was also changed to be slower in dreams, and went slower and slower the more dreams you went into. In the end it was all about a love story, and how the main character ended up being the one that had turned the tables. After I finished the movie I was was sort of shocked. It was a very strange feeling, my mind felt blank but so used up at the same time. Movies that I like I eventually write down on my list of favorite movies. However as much as I loved this movie I could not add it to my favorites because it was so strange, and just left a very strange feeling over me later. This is a movie that I only saw once, and I won’t see it again. But I do recommend seeing it as it is a very good movie, but be prepared to think and be amazed!
