I Am Omega

I am Omega is not as good as I am Legend, but it comes pretty close.

The theme of zombies taking over the world is back, but its slightly different than I am Legend.  Animals are almost extinct and the Earth has almost become a desert.  Also unlike I am Legend, the main character is less than willing to help people out.  There is also a damsel in distress.

So from the synopsis, this movie seems like a cheap I am Legend rip-off, right?  It kind of is, but it is still a movie to give a watch.  The plot is incoherent at times, but almost all zombie movies are like that.  Also unlike I am Legend, it centers more on violence than actual character development, which is good or bad depending on the kind of person. 

That really is all there to be said about this movie.  If you have not seen I am Legend, then give this movie a try with an open mind.  If you have seen I am Legend, this movie is still a good watch, just don’t let your opinion of the previous affect this movie (good or bad).  Since this is a sci-fi “horror” movie, this will probably only be appealing to people who enjoy such movies.
