Kamalinee Mukherji is one of the hot and top tollywood actresses in India. Kamalinee is known to be Bengali beauty.

Kamalinee was on 4 March, 1980 and also known as Indian film actress. Kamilinee appeared in Telugu films as well as in a Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada language films. Kamalinee was also seen in TV ads of brands like Neelkamal furniture, Parachute, Fair & Lovely and Ayush.

Kamalinee Mukherjee was born and brought up in Kolkata, India. Kamalinee’s her father is a businessman, her mother is a jewellery designer. Kamalinee is the eldest of the three siblings in the family.

Since childhood, Kamalinee acted in all sorts of amateur and professional stageplays while in school and college. Besides theater, Kamalinee developed a love for reading spiritual works, painting and writing poetry.

One of her poems was selected for an International Poetry Contest. Kamalinee had written three poems, each of these titled as Thoughts, Confusion and Solitude for poetry.com. Besides writing poetry, Kamalinee also underwent several years of training in Bharatanatyam, an Indian classical dance form.

In 2004, Kamalinee entered in to Tollywood film industry with the moive ‘Anand’ which was directed by Shekar Kammula. It not only did well at the boxo office but also the film won 6 prestigious 2004 Nandi Awards bestowed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Among these, Mukherjee won the Nandi Award for the Best Leading Actress. Kamalinee won a couple of awards for being the best debutant actress of the year.

In 2006, Kamalinee starred in ‘Style’, and ‘Godavari’. They did well at the box office. In 2007, Kamalinee acted in the movies ‘Classmates’, ‘Pellaindi Kani’ and ‘Happy days’. In 2008, kamalinee acted in three movies which are ‘Gamyam’, ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Brahmanandam Drama Company’. In which for the film ‘Gamyam’, Kamalinee nominated as Filmfare Best Actress Award.

In 2009, Kamalinee acted in the movie ‘Gopi Gopika Godavari’. It did well at the box office. In that movie, Kamalinee looked very glamourous and cute. Her performance was very good.

Kamalinee’s upcoming movies are ‘Savari’, ‘Police Police’, ‘Kutty Shranku’(Malayalam) and ‘Chandramukhi 2’.
