Ghibli Studios: Creating Animated Castles in The Sky

Ghibli Studios is the most famous Japanese animation studio.

Ghibli Studios has produced animated films such as The Borrower Arrietty, My Neighbours the Yamadas, and My Neighbour Totoro.

Some of the most famous movies produced by Ghibli Studios are Grave of the Fireflies, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, and Ghost in the Shell 2.

Some of the animated movies produced at Ghibli Studios are available on DVD in many countries apart from Japan. Many movie fans watch movies online that are produced by Ghibli Studios and become fans of the studio, eagerly awaiting the next film to be released by the talented team working out of the studio.

Ghibli Studios is located just outside of Tokyo, Japan The property is home to an animation museum, and schoolchildren and families can enjoy a permanent exhibition showing the history and science of animation, as well as special exhibitions and short films. Hayao Miyazaki designed the animation museum at Ghibli Studios.

Ghibli Studios has worked with other major animation studios, such as Disney. The two movie studios produced Tales From Earthsea together. Tales From Earthsea was directed by Goro Miyazaki. Goro Miyazaki is the son of Hayao Miyazaki.

Hayao Miyazaki is one of the persons most often associated with Japanese animation. He is one of the best Japanese animation directors and is the person many movie fans immediately think of in association with Ghibli Studios.

Movies such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind are included on the Hayao Miyazaki movies list.

    Miyazaki is the master of animation.Princess Mononoke is my favorite one…so is Spirited Away.

    Hayao Miyazaki is a brand name, a guarantee of quality. The first time I watched his work was a TV series Heidi, Girl of the Alps. He is responsible of scene design and layout.
