The Tree of Life (Malick)

Directed by Terrence Malick. With Brad Pitt, Sean Penn, Jessica Chastain, Hunter McCracken. The story centers around a family with three boys in the 1950s. Its summer time, and a good, loud and crazy action movie is just the ticket for a good time. The entire series has been bristling with the most immersive, all-out graphics we’ve seen in just about anything, and the stars always deliver a smashing performance.

Green Lantern

 More and more comic movies have come out each year, and what’s not to love? The classic comic book superheroes and super-villains always deliver a good time, with edge-of-your-seat action combined with great laughs. 

Green Lantern is set to be a fantastic comic action film that’s original and fun. We can hardly wait.

Midnight In Paris

Midnight in Paris is a 2011 romantic comedy/fantasy film written and directed by Woody Allen. The plot centers on a small group of Americans visiting the French capital for business and pleasure. 

The protagonist, a screenwriter, is forced to confront the shortcomings of his relationship with his fiancée and their divergent goals because of his magical experiences in the city beginning each night at 12am.

The film is set in Tuscany, and focuses on a British writer and a French antiques dealer, whose relationship undergoes an odd transformation over the course of a day. The film was a French-majority production, with co-producers in Italy and Belgium. The dialogue is in French, English and Italian.

The film premiered at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival, where Binoche won the Best Actress Award for her performance. Critics have been mostly positive and have compared the film to several others, notably Roberto Rosselini’s 1954 film Journey to Italy.

Cowboys & Aliens is almost funny in its premise, but is so original and strange that we’ve just got to see it. It’s a wild combination of old western meets new sci-fi flick. With Daniel Craig as the starring actor, this is sure to be an incredible film—one you won’t want to miss.
