Early Reports Say Hannah Train Still Rolling
Early reports from several local multiplexes have The Hannah Montana movie spelled out.
Once upon a time a girl named Miley Cyrus wanted to be a rock star. That wish upon a star came true when Disney turned the young Cyrus into Hannah Montana. Now years into the alterego, The newly released Hannah Montana Movie is selling out all of the early shows, and spots are becoming very limited for the later showings.
This can only be good news for the folks at Disney. The Jonas Brothers 3D concert movie stuttered out of the gate and never regained any steam, unlike last years Hannah Montana 3D movie which shattered all types of 3D records. Miley and company are proving they still have the “it” factor when it comes to the tween audience.
The feel good, lesson learned, back to basics themes of the show when coupled with Cyrus’ voice and musical talent is proving to be a formidable combination. All hopes that Billy Ray, Miley’s father, both on screen and off, can keep this gal on the right track. As millions of young girls have pinned up posters for the sixteen year old role model. I know I am rooting for her, as well as, millions of other fathers supporting such and empowering role for such a young girl. Yes, your dreams can come true, but as always they come with a price, and there is always a lesson to be learned.
In this particular case, the lesson seems to be: when there is a Hannah release date, you should schedule your releases on a different case. For when it comes to families and teens, it seems Miley and Disney can not be beaten.
