a couple reasons why I think new drivers don’t stay and wait when they get in an accident are simple.
1: they are scared al hell-they just got in an accident have no clue what to do and are scared of what might happen so they drive off and hope everything turns out good
2:nobody tells them what to do- nobody tells the new drivers what you are suppost to do in a crash and there are no questens about it on your test for your temps or licence so they don’t know what to do and there for don’t know they need to stay there (that is propbly the reason they drive off if it is a minor accident like if your mirror scratchs there car you don’t think it is that bad and there is no reason to get the cops involved and everything is fine because nobody told you otherwise so you drive off
3:they are probobly starting a job-with getting your licence alot of people also get a job and are still in the temp stage of there job and they are constintly told “Make shur you get to work on time everyday no matter what” so they panic and think they are goona be late if they stay and drive to work so they don’t lose there job or get yelled at for being later or they don’t think about staying there because only thing going thru there mind is “I need to get to work”
then after all that is said and done and the cops find the person they get sited into court and they can’t just pay the ticket they need to actuly show up in court with probobly scares them even more than that accident did and the probobly ether never want to drive again or become a granny driver always going as slow as they can being as carefully as they can so they don’t get in another accident
