Best Movies and Screenwriters

    Im a huge movie buff, and i also like writing. so i consider myself to be a pretty good judge of good movie writing. I can appreciate most movies simply for their writing, but there are definitely some people who have an amazing ability to screenwrite.

   First off, for those who love a great movie that they can watch with their significant other, or a movie to really invoke some great thought, i highly suggest Darren Aronofsky. He has written what i consider to be the best movie of all time.

“The Fountain”

     I suggest this movie to anyone, and their mother. An example of the best writing i have experienced, i wish i could write like this.

“Requiem For A Dream”

   Also a great movie Written by Aronofsky. I suggest this movie to anyone, especially teens, and those experimenting with, or effected by drug use.

       Second is the Great M. Night Shyamalan. He is a great writer, and his movies are very good at causing you to think, which makes any “serious” movie worth while.

“The Village”

     This movie is Amazing. It wasn’t accepted very well, because people were expecting a scary movie, mostly due to the advertising. Shyamalan has had too many critics say that the ” twist ending” to his movies is repetitive. But in all honesty thats what makes his writing great!

” Lady In The Water”

    This is a great movie for anyone looking to escape, and be absorbed into a movie for its duration. Great storytelling and intensity.

You can really get lost in this movie.

         Last has to be Will Farrell. He is definitely one of the best comedy actors of our time, and always able to get some laughs. But not only is he a great actor, he has also written some of his movies. 

“Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”

    I don’t think i really have to say much about this movie. Most people have seen it, and those who haven’t Need to. 

“Step Brothers”

      This is probably the funniest movie i have ever seen. Although it is an extremely inappropriate movie, everyone who sees it loves it. I have a sister who is an extremist in religion, and anti-vulgar language, and she absolutely loves this movie. If you have not seen this movie it should be at the top of your list!
