Nearly half an hour after the Dark Knight Rises of the Batman movie series started after its midnight premiere, a medical student dressed in riot gear entered an Aurora, CO movie theater and shot, killing 12 and injuring an increasing number of 59 to 69 people.
During an action scene of the long awaited Dark Knight Rises movie the movie theater erupted into chaos as the man suspect to have killed 12 people and injuring an upward number of 59 to 69 threw a smoke grenade or bomb into the crowd. People had recollected that they had thought it was part of the movie, as special effects, but they soon realized it was a real situation, as men, women, and even children scrambled to save themselves as bullets flew and connected with innocent victims.
The lone gunmen was 24- year old James Holmes, a PhD student for neuroscience studies at the university of Colorado had actually withdrew himself from his studies before the shooting. He had been carrying a shotgun and two handguns, and with those same weapons he killed a dozen men, women, military members, children and so forth.
Reports are being leaked in through nearly every news station throughout the country with similar numbers, similar accounts and so forth.
Police caught Holmes in the parking of that movie theater immediately after the shooting in a bullet-proof vest, gas mask and the similar boatload of weaponry he had entered with.
Some account that when he was finished shooting he casually made his way out, and referred to himself as the “joker,”
Our hearts and prayers remain in Aurora Colorado today, thinking of the men, women, children, elderly and all of the above who were affected by this tragic event of domestic terrorism.
