All About Mel: A Fun Yet Fair Mel Gibson Tribute

A look at Mel Gibson’s career, along with his pictures and all the weird facts about his life.

Mel Gibson still remains my favorite actor after well…He has been my favorite actor for a long time. Sure, I love Jack Nicholson and respect Al Pacion. Gary Oldman is fantastic and the presence of Clive Owen and Gerard Butler have been refreshing. But if I have to choose just one actor, it would be Mel. Why? He made Braveheart and The Man Without A Face. He made Lethal Weapon and Mad Max. He might have done some bad movies but hey, didn’t they all? And his private life isn’t any worse than your regular celebrity. I mean Hugh Grant cheated on Liz Hurley with a prostitute, Ralph Fiennes left his wife for a woman twice his age, Robert Downey, Jr. finally got clean off drug abuse in his 40s, Jude Law slept with the nanny of his children while he was with Sienna Miller… The list can go on forever So, really. Forget about the private lives. Think of the movies But of course, being me, I won’t forget to entertain you with the weird stuff:)

Birtname: Mel Collumcille Gerard Gibson (no, really)

Birth year: 1956 (his competiton at showing his every year on his face is Robert Redford

Siblings: 10 or 11 (forgot which one). See? The love for a big family is genetic.

No. of Kids: 8 – 7 from wife Robyn, 1 from current girlfriend

Religion: Catholic.

Anti-gay?: Nope. Anti-homosexual when it comes to guys being with guys. But he loves Jodie Foster, they have been good friends since Maverick. She is gay. See, he has nothing against lesbians. Doesn’t this describe almost every heterosexual guy on the planet?

Latest Film: Edge of Darkness- solid and brilliant

Some co-stars: Julia Roberts, Michelle Pfeiffer, Rene Russo (5 times), Madeleine Stowe, Maria Bello, Jodie Foster.

Obviously, I have done a lot of posts on Mel and his movies. So I’d love it and if you came and check those out too. Wouldn’t be true tribute, had I not listed all my work on him. Some are on Triond, and some are on my beloved blog:

Yeah, but I think it was even a success for them to last as long as they did in Hollywood. What surprised me was that Mel was all loyal and stuff during his most gorgeous days and found a girl friend after he lost it… Ha ha…
