Alice in Wonderland vs.. Avatar
Odd mix it may be the Avatar and Alice in Wonderland are the two big earners on the film scene at the moment and both utilize the latest 3D technology, so which one do you prefer?
Alice in Wonderland
Alice was released on the 25th of Februry and has grossed 116 million after barely two weeks. The movie is a star studed blockbuster with the Lead roles being filled by the magnificant Johnny Depp, the lovely Mia Wasikowska, the beautiful Anne Hathway, the brillant Helena Bonham Carter and the list could go on. But does it keep up with the hype? Well lets find out.
The reviews for Alice have been fairly mediocore with alot of people saying it lacked the books heart but was non the less an amazing visual treat, to which there is very little to argue about.

Avatar has been out for awhile now coming out in late 2009 it has grossed over $2,500,000,000 making it the highest grossing movie ever. Avatars actors are less known than Alice in Wonderlands however a familar face pops up every now and then for example Sigourney Weaver. James Cameron the director and writer of avatar is a movie direction icon having movies like The Terminator, True Lies, Aliens and of course Titanic tucked up his sleave, he is without a doubt a magnificant director and has not disapointed with avatar.
Avatar has recieved mainly positively by both film critics and movie fans alike, however some have crtitised it for its story claiming it follows a very common plot to many other movies.
Conclusion
As with any movies Avatar and Alice in Wonderland have positives but they also have negatives, but there is one thing for sure we are seeing the future of movie making with these two films and my god I am excited.
