A Zombie Fall in Love with a Girl
An upcoming movie about a bizarre zombie love affair.

Warm Bodies is an upcoming film based on the novel with the same name by Isaac Marion. The story revolves around a young zombie boy who fell in love with a living girl, and how that alter the post-apocalyptic world they’re living in. The film stars Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four) as the girl and Nicholas Hoult as the zombie, and Hank McCoy (from X-Men: First Class). The film is being billed as both romance and comedy.
Sure, we had seen human fell in love with a vampire and a werewolf but a zombie? Why and how could it possibly happen? Many will probably laugh or hate the idea of making this film but they already done it. Yes, they have done movies like this before like “The Revenant” and “Deadheads”. But this specific film will be marketed more to young generation, given the fact that it was based on a Young Adult novel. Many teens will watch it for sure. It is truly bizarre and disturbing. A zombie loves a human being, not in a way that he wants to chew her brains but in a way that he would betray his fellow zombies just to protect her? They might find it as an interesting concept but will the audience like it? Well, it’s up to us. We will see and find out. But please I don’t want to see a zombie and a girl make love (have sex)! That’s very unacceptable and disgusting! I may allow them to kiss but that’s all. I doubt they will actually considered that. Anyway, this film originally intended to be in theaters on August this year (2012) but they moved it on February of next year (2013). Maybe because they don’t want to compete on the final film in the Twilight Saga. Summit Entertainment is also behind the creation of this movie so there’s no really surprise. They really want to invest on movies like this. They like to try weird and ludicrous ideas. What can I say, anything is possible in Hollywood. What else that we haven’t see yet?

I find the concept of this film a bit disturbing because of the necrophilia. However, twilight to me is a choice between necrophilia and bestiality. It’s safe to say I really don’t like any of these movies, but you have written a good article here.
Good share..
wow this sounds great.I love it
Gross! Ok, here’s the deal: Vampires have awareness, according to legend. Werewolves are infected with lycanthropy because of having been bitten, but are themselves most of the time. Zombies have no awareness — they are animated corpses. This is pushing the silly factor to the max.
Catchy, I like your use of words and humor
Holly Wood will always try making money off of something. It may be weird, but it seems like it would be interesting. Although I don’t know that it would have as much success as the Twilight Saga. Still it feels like today all the old scary things are being made into tweens romantic fodder wishes.
LOL i like horror but modern ones gone bad and not as great as classics… this is a Rom-Com of zombies… thats a first.. ill watch it and see what my reactions are lol to making love and Necrophilia. but i dont think it is coz necrophilia is sex with a dead body. never mind bad sentence
A good write, both caustic and humerous. However, you bill this film though, it will certainly not be dead boring! (LOL). I like
nice share dear ….
The concept of this film doesn’t sound disturbing at all to me, perhaps because, unlike a lot of other people, I advocate the idea that we should be test-tubed some time in the future so that we don’t fall ill, don’t get hurt (so much) by others, and life wouldn’t be such an effort for people as it is now. Also, I’ve suffered a spell of mental illness where I’ve experience nothing that goes on in the material world, including encountering with people that are indifinitive and semi-inanimate, (hence my novel “Fall-Out Roses.”)
I like it sound cool
sounds like a nightmare.
Well, I am a fan of “Walking Dead” so this article caught my eye. I don’t think I will pay good money to see this at the theatre but might check it out at our library or pay 99 cents to rent it.
I totally agree with your take on it. Zombie sex? GROSSSSSSS!!!!
sounds pretty awesome i’d watch it i always read the book first though
Witty. I liked it!
Well this is… Interesting.
Love the article! Although there has been some zombie romances already, like in Boy Eats Girl and Fido. The movies do not center around necrophilia, but there is some.
so many things people make up these days….i really think it’s creative
and now, i’ve seen everything.. my life is complete. it cant get weirder than this…
