Top Five Animated Movies

We all like animated movies, adults and kids alike, that’s why I bring you my top choices of animated movies.

You’re flipping through the channels on your television. Then, something catches your eye, but you feel embarrassed to watch it. Well, don’t be we all love animated movies even us adults. That’s why I’m here to bring you my top choices for animated movies.

“The Incredibles”

This movie deals with superheroes, I know I know, superheroes are so overrated. But, this movie actually portrays a different type of superhero. This movie portrays an entire family of superheros and best of all they’re animated! It also gives a whole new meaning to family and I really enjoyed watching this. Who are the masterminds behind this movie? Pixar and Disney of course. Why does it seem like Pixar makes the best animated movies ever.

“Wall-E”

This touching tale about a robot left to care after earth when the humans left is amazing. Once again, this movie is by PIXAR AND DISNEY. What I found interesting about this movie is that even though there isn’t much dialogue, it still showed viewers what WALL-E & his friends are thinking and feeling. At first I though a non dialogue movie would be boring, but once I watched it, I myself was SPEECHLESS! (:

 ”Ratatouille”

It is also by Pixar and Disney. This movie is about a rat that likes to cook. The rat isn’t welcome in the kitchen so he teams up with a budding garbage boy at a 3 star restaurant and together they become unstoppable. That is, until the Health Board shuts them down. I like this movie because it allows the audience to enter the kitchen and it gives so much detail to the food onscreen.

“Monsters Vs. Aliens 3-D”

This movie is by Dreamworks. The plot revolves around a woman named Susan who is struck by an extraterristrail comet and is transformed into a 50 foot lady. After she is put away in a government facility, she meets other monsters and together they are hired to fight an alien invasion. Although the title seems to bring up the thought of yucky aliens and monsters, this movie is action packed and extremely funny! Better yet, it’s in 3-D! You can literally see the characters reaching out to you.

Shrek 2

Even though the original shrek is the original, Shrek 2 is actually better! I think it’s better because it really gives a meaning to Fiona and Shrek’s love for each other, and it is hilarious! It is about an ogre who marries a princess-turned-ogre and together along with Shrek’s sidekick “donkey” and villain-turned-helper “Puss” plot to stop Prince Charming from taking over the kingdom.
