When Barbie enters sophomore, she finds her life as bad luck. When she found the charm bracelet at the clothing store, her life as a sophomore student becomes better.
This Barbie film is far different from any other Barbie films because it shows the reality of the high school life as she portrays the role of a girl in a high school sophomore.
Summary:
Barbie is ready to become a high school sophomore as she planned to lead her band and to be the announcer of the campus news program. But, she finds her life difficult because she is always get bullied by the popular kids like Raquel until she learned to express and to stand for herself in the end. She found this bracelet and diary from a clothing store at the mall and it gives her luck. When she lost it, she realized the most important is being true to herself not just being a copy cat like the popular kids in her school. She learned to value her friends like Tia and Courtney. When her band becomes a hit in the school dance, it gains her some self-confidence, and she gains back the trust of her two best friends. The popular clique like Regan and Donna finally accepts them as who they are, while Raquel is experiencing a bad karma when she stole Barbie’s charm bracelet. And then, Barbie found out that Kevin is her real secret admirer, and they become together as a couple.
Conclusion:
The different twist of the theme of this Barbie film teach the teenagers how they should value friendship and themselves. They should build high self-esteem because they are the one who handle themselves when facing some pressures in life.
