Kung Fu Panda Lessons

I just watched Kung Fu Panda recently and I liked it! Here are my thoughts about some of the quotes I have taken from the movie. Have a look and see if we share the same thoughts.

I pondered on these things while Po, a big fat panda learns his way to become THE big fat panda.

“Sorry doesn’t make the noodles.”

Po’s dad, who is a bird by the way, says this to his son. This is so right.. Stop apologizing too much! Just take action and do what you have to do.

“One often meets his destiny on the road he takes to avoid it.”

Ah… How many times have I said in the past that i don’t to become a nurse because i’m already surrounded by nurses. Sigh. Life works in mysterious ways.

“Your mind is like my this water my friend, when it becomes agitated it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear.”

Breathe. If you have an emergency and suddenly you don’t know what to do, just breathe… You think of too many things but one must learn how to control thoughts and take things one step at a time. You are not superwoman.

“There are no accidents.”

Something happens. And you never thought a single incident(accident) could inspire you so much. There are things that just changes something in you. Are there things in your life that you cannot understand? Stop for a moment and have the time to think about it for a while. Things happen for a reason. You just have to learn and realize what these things are for.

“You concentrate too much on what was and what will be.”

Guilty right? You are only here NOW. Live on the present.

“There is no secret ingredient.”

The scroll of the Dragon Warrior, which supposedly gives one limitless power, (yeah, limitless power) was blank. Po’s father has no secret ingredient to his special soup. I guess the right thing to do is to stop looking for that scroll and start making the best soup.

Some things only make sense when they matter, when you learn the meaning behind the words and finally understand.

“Inner peace… Inner peace… In… In… In… Inner peace…”
