Aladdin
When Aladdin climbs up on Jasmine’s roof, her pet tiger attacks Aladdin. There is when he mumbles what they say is either “Take off you clothes” or “Good teenagers, take off your clothes”. The Disney Company says it’s false … and that’s what media says. But, I happen to believe that there is something there.
The Little Mermaid
The priest seems to be a little too happy to be at this wedding. It seems he gets an erection.
There’s also another Little Mermaid taboo on the cover of the film:
Some believe that part of the kingdom on the cover is a phallace, drawn by a disgruntled artist.
The Rescuers
In the scene when Bianca and Bernard are taking off on the back of their friend, Wilbur, there’s a very naughty image in the background. The Disney company doesn’t deny this one, actually; they recalled the movie in the ’70s because of it.
The Lion King
We should know that even the greatest, most awesome movies from Disney are gonna be criticized. I say this, because The Lion King is my favorite movie from Disney. Well, in one scene when Simba lays down and a bunch of dust comes flying up, some say the word sex is spelled in it. To this day, it’s still undetermined.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame

If you look close enough, Belle makes a cameo appearance … reading a book of course. Also, you can see a guy shaking out the carpet from Aladdin, and 2 guys carrying Pumba. Some say you can see a satellite dish on the roof, which is also true if you look to the very left of the screen.

The Lion King one was intended to be SFX to represent the Special Effects that went into the movie, but most people try to read it as SEX instead. I hear they smudged it out now just because of the controversy.

There’s one you missed… In the beginning of the Lion King, within the first minute of the film, the monkey is in the tree talking to himself and if you listen he says “Take a piss” really clearly.

Go easy on the word “fool” please. A quick look at the priest might indicate an erection, however, looking closely and thinking about it the middle hump is formed by the space between the legs and logically the background in hind portion of the robe – the hump being formed by the back of the right knee. IMO, an accident.
On Simba, my son showed me that some time back. It looked like SEX to us. Might have to run it again sometime and see.

Disney has never denied liking to slip in the various little things here and there.
In Aladdin, when the Sultan is playing with his stack of animals, if you look closely you’ll see The Beast from Beauty and the Beast in the pile.
In another movie (I forget which) you can also find Mrs Potts and Chip the tea cup from Beauty and the Beast as well.
It’s fun to go and watch through the Disney movies and see what you can find.

Not from Disney, but if you are a Spongebob fan, watch the movie and you will notice in the beginning when Spongebob is standing at the podium and realizing that he didn’t get the managers position that Mr. Krabbs clearly whispers in his ear that he is a jackass.

I would say someone has too much time on their hands, and if some of you didn’t catch these than you just plain don’t watch enough movies. Most disney movies are not meant to say perverted things. The only reason the phallus is on the front of the little mermaid case is because the guy was being told that when he finished the illustrations that he was being let do he decided to make his mark on the cover since he hadn’t finished it yet. All the other things are seriously reading into the movie.
Now here is a real one. If you have the original 3 Men and A Baby you can see the little boy in the red shirt6 in the window when the one guys is up talking to a woman and then in the original Wizard of Oz you can catch the one midget hanging himself in the background of one of the yellow brick road scenes.

I always fall asleep during Disney movies, except for the one with the surfer dude, what a cute show, hope that wasn’t perverted.
I’m not sure how these qualify as “subliminal messages”. Maybe “easter eggs” or “accidents” (or, in the case of character from others movies – “cameos”).
And even if you still think these are subliminal messages, my next question would be, so what?
(Is this really what passes for a “good article” here? Two of these – The Little Mermaid cover, and The Lion King – have been talked about for over 10 years now. The only one that is remotely interesting, and even then, only from a trivia point-of-view is the cameos in Hunchback of Notre Dame.)
First of all Great Article! Next, the three men and a baby one is freaky we have that one & it freaks me out everytime. The wizard of OZ one is a farce. If you watch it frame for frame it is the shadow of an Ostrich flap his wings behind a screen. He was standing by the little cabin in either an earlier scene or one right after. I forget which, it’s been too long ago. I was part of a radio show that helped debunk that after they interviewed one of the lollipop guild people that said no one hanged themselves but couldn’t remember what it was that you saw.
Just a comment on the first item: it’s not there. Some people should get their hearing and their dirty imaginations checked.
Great article. I never really noticed the vulgar things you stated in the article with regard to the films. I just saw them as pure, fun entertainment for adults and children alike. But I would think that if this was the case of incorporating the vulgarity, the films would have been banned after their premiers, before they reached the movie theaters. But like I said, I never really noticed any of the vulgarities when viewing the film, nor have I ever thought or considered them. I grew up on these movies and its so sad that some person thought it would be funny to pervert a childs memories. I can never look at any of these movies the same again. Before you posted the article you should have researched subliminal messages, their means and processes. Your article content and subliminal messages are two very different things.

On the cover of the first *original* Beauty & the Beast home video release, one of the gargoyles on the castle appear to be facing backwards, holding an erect phallus and ejaculating. When I first started learning of disney’s subliminal messages, I didn’t believe them – but I have the original video cover (purchased at walmart in the early 90s when I was a kid) to back this one up. There’s no denying that it DOES look like it.
I have a more “kid” appropriate one…in Allidan…the scene when the sultan is stacking up all his figurines into a pyramid…at the top on the side is the Beast from Beauty and the Beast…

For the time when Belle showed up in the Hunchback of Notre Dame, it’s common in many Disney movies. I remember there was this one special on TV where someone from Disney said how they include characters in other movies into their movies. Some examples are Hercules and Finding Nemo. In Hercules, he is wearing a skin of Skar when he is getting painted on a vase. In Finding Nemo, Buzz Lightning is in the toy chest in the dentist office. =/

Some graphic artists have broken non-disclosure agreements to speak to the depth and breadth of the tactics their former companies have used. Some of you would be shocked and sickened to see the perversity in advertisements targeting children.

Just to let some people know… in the first article about alladin, they do say take off your clothes. In some of the newer copies that people bought, the noise was taken out. I’ve listened to it many times and laughed.
It is true about Alladin, saying “take off your clothes”. But in the clip of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, the carpet that is being shaken isn’t really the one from Allidin it is just a carpet. Pumba isn’t even in this clip either. It is just a guy carying something like dirt or something along those lines. Belle is the only one that is really in this little clip.
Disney is not the first one to have cameo appearances of characers from previous Disney movies. Pixar does the same exact thing on purpose. And they admit it. IMO…It is not a coincedence that Pixar and Disney later teamed up and now Pixar picked up the same habits that Disney displayed years before Pixar came into the picture.

As far as the sound effects…one person hears one thing and then another person can hear something totally different…especially if it isn’t completely clear. I might hear a bunch of babble or whispering while someone else hears distinct words. It is the same as the proven scientific fact that two people can see the same exact accident at the exact same time but tell the account two totally different ways!
Furthermore, almost all cartoon movies since we were all kids have adult contained jokes that kids would never get until they were grown. I remember watching Disney movies as a child and never noticed the adult humor until I was grown. Newer shows that include such humor that we notice more now but our kids may not are shows like Sponge Bob and movies like Shrek and Cat in the Hat, just to name a couple. But there are classic movies that we watched as kids and they contain the same dry adult humor. We just never noticed that it was intended for adults until we were older.
IMO…the reason that they throw “ADULT” humor into children’s movies is to boost ratings in the box office (especially in newer movies) or to boost sales…if the parents are taking their child(ren) to the movie theater then they (the cartton movie producers) have to entertain the parents too…but it is the same with sales…you can buy a movie for your child but you are more likely to buy it if it also interests you and therefore more likely to sit and watch it with your child.

Yep, Aladdin one is true. I remember when my kids got the first video and we had the words texting out on the t.v. screen and clear as day it was written across the screen! They found it in the video the first time they watched it! I guess it got out later on eventually to everyone else. Maybe it was taken out of later versions as the Little Mermaid cover was changed. I have that original one too. I did see on one site that one cartoon character called Daffy Duck the so called “N” word. As in a lot of kids movies and cartoons they know that adults watch too, so they add a little humor over the kids heads. I’m sure every Disney movie has something…those people were probably sitting around getting drunk when they planned them out! So far the movies haven’t killed anyone in real life…did they? Enjoy & laugh!

The Lion King was actually recalled when it first came out and they re-released it. Also in both Beauty and the Beast and the Little Mermaid, characters say the word Zootilo (spelling?) which is French for “I’ll be damned!” so Disney is by far not that innocent!

Umm… The bird in the wizard of oz is a peacock and you see it a couple of scenes earlier. As for the sex word in the dust being sfx it’s a load of fudge. Earlier in the movie near the start, rafiki puts that red juice stuff on simbas head and it spells out sex. With a small e, so Im VERY sure that the so called SFX is actualy SEX that disney is trying to cover up. >.<

And for the SEX spelled out in the leaves, I heard that Disney ‘apologized’ for that one. Apparently, there were 2 people drawing that page and they both scribbled out the leaves and when they brought the page together, it spelled SEX.

the truth is that the boss of disney at the time was an jackass n fired everyone from his company after finishing a movie. The employees knowingly expected to get fired so they added sexual content to make viewers think wrong of disney. They were hidden from the head of disney which is why they are hidden in there
back when walt disney was actually alive and working on the movies and such, alot of his cartoonists would slip something into their work to see if he would pick it out. it was like a game of sorts between them, as walt disney was known to have a sharp eye and such.

The subconsious mind picks up the things that the eye doesn’t see. The creators of these films know this and this is a marketing tool used by many advertisers. If u Google Walt Disney and underground porn you will find out some things you would have never thought could be true! So if you have a creator who is also into porn it is no suprise that he wants to target his audience early and get the subconsious to pick up images so then when images sush as porn are introduced to their lives it will be as if it is something they can relate to.

the last one is just cameo appearences… not really “subliminal mesages” he always did cameos with mickey and other charcters… i only saw bell (which makes sence as beauty and the beast is also set in france)
There is always the micky mouse sillhouette in things (even in this in the church pillars)
These cameo’s make the films more interesting and get a quick laugh from the viewer… not a negative!
