Top Five Movies of The Year So Far
These are my five favourite movies of the year so far. This list will be updated by the year’s end.
5. Argo: Film about a man writing about hostages that has an impact on his storytelling mood and has enough powerful acting performances to be well worth watching.
4. Zero Dark Thirty: Relating to the events regarding hostages and Osama Bin Laden. The movie is exciting and powerful.
3. Skyfall: The new Bond is stylish, entertaining and a suitable conglomeration of all one might have expected in the series at this point. The way the story unfolds with the chasing of Silva leading to a variety of locals is thrilling and consisently surprising.
2. The Dark Knight Rises: This movie far surpasses the prequel with a more epic scope and a very interesting enemy character in the form of Bane. It builds up in intensity throughout and features a number of interesting characters and storyline segments.
1. The Cabin in the Woods: This is a creepy movie about young adults who venture on a vacation to a cabin in the woods that becomes infested with monsters and leads to greater realms of treachery displaying that they might have been placed in a staged environment.
