This is the third in the Batman series directed by Christopher Nolan. I loved all three movies, it was a great departure of earlier batman stories.
The first movie of the origin was quite compelling and provided an insight of how he gained his skills. The second movie shows how like in the wild west, a super hero will attract super villain. This third movie goes back to the legacy of Ra’s al Ghul.
The third movie focused more on the story of story line instead of depending on the technology and weapon. Not many new weapons were introduced.
Bane broke Batman’s back as he did in the comic book years ago. Of all the villains Batman faced this was by far the most dangerous one.
The depiction of catwoman was much flattering that the ones I have seen in the past. There was no direct reference of catwoman in the show but readers of comic books can immediately identify her. She was the best burglar money could buy.
Part of the story reminded me of the occupy movement that happened many months back. Bane attempted to place turn normal citizens against the rich and the government.
One thing about this trilogy, it seems that too many people could guess the real identity of Batman.
As I said in the beginning it was a great trilogy but the producer saw it fitting to have a possible new beginning with Robin in the new movie. I believe it will be a big hit in the box office, who knows we may get another trilogy?
I think this movie is very emotional for a lot of people. There has already been two bad incidents
- disabling of comments on Rotten Tomato site.
- the shooting in Denver which left 14 dead and 50 injured.
