G.I. Joe Movie 2009: More Than Expected

At first I thought this movie would be nothing more than a cheaply made ripoff of the classic G.I. Joe cartoon made real, and also a publicity scam for them to earn money from the many G.I. Joe fans worldwide. After seeing this movie however my opinion completely changed. The movie started off a little slow, having confusing flashbacks (which were throughout the whole movie, making more sense as they came together) and situations which leaft me guessing with no idea what was going on, but this was only part of the captivating hold it had on me. As the movie progressed through more and more came together, also adding more action throughout which definitely made it worth the at first hesitant watch. Instead of being a cheap ripoff I found it to be a captivating, action filled flick worth every second, and by the end I found myself not wanting it to finish. In my personal opinion this was one of the greatest action flicks of the year, and should definitely be viewed by any who enjoy adrenaline filled, over the top movie.
