Death Proof
This review is based on my opinion of the Tarantino movie Death Proof that was released a few years back.
I’ve just finished watching Death Proof. What a complete waste of time. I Can’t believe Tarantino has yet again put together another disappointing movie along side the Kill Bill series. This was more of a chick flick more than anything else with the pointless and constant Blah,blah,blah throughout.
Kurt Russell was ruthless and played his part well only up until the end where he started whining like a baby after being shot and tossed out of the car. In my opinion Tarantino’s best work was on From Dusk Till Dawn and possibly Pulp Fiction.
Shooting the movie with a rough edge was a lame excuse to try and give it a vintage look, but the feeling just wasn’t there.
After reading uplifting reviews of the movie and learning of the expectations of what’s to come from it, I must say, this movie drags along to a rushed and unplanned final that delivers nothing more than a Power Ranger style punch ‘em up for those easily amused. 4/10
