Bangkok Dangerous Review
I am a big fan of Nicholas Cage, and I was not surprised of his performance in this movie. This movie was excellent!
Basically, this movie is about a professional hitman named Joe who is in Thailand to complete killings for a crime boss called Surat. He hires a young street punk named Kong to complete some errands for him, even though he is going to kill the youngster at the end of the assignment. But instead, the hitman becomes Kong’s mentor, and begins a great romance with a local girl. But as Joe begins to let his guard down, Surat decides its time to have a talk.
The movie has a great storyline, and has great actors leading it. Nicholas Cage does a great job with this part, and so does the supporting actor, Shahkrit Yamnarm. This movie, as I said before, has a great storyline, and it gets you thinking a bit. Also, the romance between Joe and the shop girl is very beautiful and entertaining. I will not give the ending away, but it will shock you very much.
The Pang Brothers did a terrific job directing this movie. It was shot in all the right angles, the lighting was great in the moody scenes, and the cinematography was just fantastic. The music was set in all the right places, for both the action scenes and the romantic scenes. I give Bangkok Dangerous a 10/10, and I highly recommend it.
